Here is a piece I wrote fro BTR on the role of athletes as "role models."
Inventing a New Way to Listen to Music
This blog aims to expand your appreciation for song and written word together. Many of the posts have been designed to match the time of a specific song in reading length. The words of the post, together with the song you hear, will open your mind to a new way of reading and listening to music. Enjoy!

Really Cool Video
You must check this video out: Todd Bieber - i make movies
Facebook it, Tweet it, Blog it, and get it out to as many people as possible. It is a cool story and would even be better if it can get back to the owners.
George Bailey, Sal Paradise, and the Pursuit of Happiness
Here is another op-ed piece I wrote for BreakThru Radio. The funny thing is, I admire and look up to both of these heroes. I found it difficult to pit one against the other. I guess the real pursuit lies in the balance between the two.
If you are into the money vs. happiness debate, check out Woody Allen's "Money Can Buy Happiness--As If" article in the January 24th Shouts & Murmurs section of The New Yorker. He brilliantly takes the reader through a fictional tale of a real-life Monopoly game around the financial debacle of the last three years.
As a side not, should we be surprised that Monopoly was invented during the Great Depression? Talk about American psyche for fantasy.

Beware The Peyote
Here is an article I wrote for BreakThru this week. I apologize to all my readers. I know I have been slack as of late. I have begun a full time job here and the project has been labor-intensive. I will add some new music writings soon. Thanks for checking in.

iPods on the Subway
Check out this article on BTR written by one of their writers. It references my thesis work quite a bit.
